Open Question: Gregory Evans on the Michael Baiseden show… computer hackers…Online Personal Shopper…identity theft?

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Awhile ago on the Michael Baisden show a guy named Gregory Evans with Ligatt Security said that there was a website where you ask for a personal shopper I think is ran by computer hackers.

You then tell your personal shopper the item you are wanting to purchase and how much money you want to spend like a $4,000 Prada or Versace purse but you only want to spend $500.

The personal shopper goes to Prada’s or Versace’s website and purchases your item for $4,000 ON SOMEONE ELSE credit card (identity theft) but you only pay $500 you agreed on and it gets shipped right to you.

Do anyone remember this and is this true or just another way to scare people into not shopping on the internet.

In other words, what can a person do with my driver’s license and is there anything I can do to prevent it?
