Credit Watchers

I have very bad credit due to some decisions I made in college without really knowing what I was doing (dumb). I’m working very hard on monitoring and repairing it, but I understand that these things take time and the best way to go about it is to stay on top of your bills and debt and pay things on time (which i have been).

I’ve been living with my boyfriend for over a year and a half now and we’ve talked about marriage but he wants to wait because of my bad credit. What exactly would my credit score mean as a married person? I guess I am not completely sure what I would impact. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

The political cartoon is in the Christian Science Monitor and it is a piece of paper that says Summer Studies Abroad and then it says name Barack Obama subject International Relations and reason Need Credit Hours. I do not know much about politics and I would appreciate it if someone could shed some light on it for me. Thanks in advance!

I have Identity Monitor from Citi (I have a credit card with them). One of the features of the Identity Monitor is that I can look up my credit report whenever. It tells me accurately what is on my report (it matches up with my free credit reports from those 3 agencies or whatever). So, would you say the credit score it gives me is about accurate?

Does anyone know their score more factually and have Identity monitor? are the scores the same or at least close?

I have had it happen several times. I guess I don’t care but it convinces me Y politics and elections are carefully monitored by the media big dogs. Guess they have a huge time gap to fill each day.
