Ok, So, I am trying to help this 23 year old homeless (yes he is legal) guy get on his feet. He doesn’t have any I.D on him. he knows his social security number but don’t you need proof of Idenity to request copies?
For instance, I was trying to help him get on public assistance so that he can atleast get something. They sent back a form wanting a copy of birth certificate, i.d and social security.
EVEN THE SHELTERS WANT ATLEAST SOME I.D.
Does anyone know where I can start? With identity theft and other crimes going on, its getting hard to just request a copy of your information without proof of who you are.
